SYBS series air insulated type bypass switches are applied to sub-modules of SVG and high-voltage inverter power units and adopt redundant design. When the IGBT of any sub-module fails, the bypass switch can be quickly put into operation to bypass the faulty sub-module and ensure stable operation of the complete equipment.
