The 230 kV GIS equipment at the Upper Jurong Substation in Singapore, independently developed, supplied, and commissioned by Sieyuan Electric, has been officially put into service.
As a core strategic project in Singapore's national grid modernization program, the successful commissioning strengthens power reliability in western Singapore — and demonstrates that Sieyuan's high-voltage GIS products meet the country's stringent technical and quality standards.
Upper Jurong Substation sits in Jurong, Singapore's core industrial and residential power load zone. For this project, Sieyuan supplied 230 kV GIS equipment comprising 20 bays, managing the full project lifecycle from production and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) through on-site installation and commissioning. The project earned consistent recognition from the client's technical specialists at every stage.
This milestone marks a significant step in the global expansion of Sieyuan's high-voltage GIS business, reinforcing the company's foothold in Southeast Asia's high-end power market and serving as a benchmark for future growth worldwide.
