Earthing Transformer
The earthing transformer is usually used in a power system without neutral point, to provide an artificial neutral connection for earthing directly or via an impedance such as an arc suppression reactor, a resistor, a current-limiting reactor and so on. The grounding transformer may adopt a secondary (low-voltage winding) for continuous use as a power supply for the substation station.
