Project Background

The sustained growth of Saudi Arabia's economy has led to an increasing demand for reliable electricity. In order to meet this demand, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) is committed to enhancing and expanding its power infrastructure through various projects, and the high-voltage mobile substation project is one of the important initiatives. These high-voltage mobile substations can not only serve as backup power sources to quickly restore power supply in emergency situations, but can also be used for rapid integration of new power plants into the grid, temporary solutions during maintenance and renovation of existing substations, and providing additional power support during peak demand periods.

Technical Highlights

The substation can simultaneously meet two voltage levels of 33kV and 13.8kV, enhancing the versatility of the equipment. It is also integrated with the latest intelligent control technology, enabling it to adapt to harsh climate conditions and large-scale power load demands.
